introduce three high quality and unique ornamental garden collections.
These collections are high value and quality. Each item is constructed of Western Red Cedar lumber. The rough-hewn cedar has been thoroughly surfaced and sanded to a smooth look and touch. Gorilla Glue, the toughest glue on the planet, is used on sub-assemblies where necessary. It is incredibly strong and 100% waterproof. Coarse-threaded pocket-hole screws are recessed to tightly fasten each item. Zinc coated carriage bolts are used for quick and easy assembly. Heavy duty, 8-spoke wheels are included with the carts. Although the carts are intended for ornamental use the wheels are fully functional. This provides you with a worry-free, top quality, long life outdoor product. What is Western Red Cedar? United States Department of Agriculture FS-261 Thunja Plicata, an American wood, is primarily a west coast species. It is a top member of the pine family. Cedar trees attain heights in excess of 200 feet and diameters up to 16 feet. Available supply in USA is 44 billion board feet. Growing stock supply is 8.7 billion cubic feet. Why use Western Red Cedar? Light in weight, it is among the most durable of native tree species. Naturally Aromatic, its large oil content resists warping and insect damage. Cedar is rated among the best softwoods in paint-holding ability and durability against decay. Cedar acts like a sponge. It swells when absorbing moisture and shrinks when losing it. It bonds exceptionally well. This means you have chosen an excellent quality product to accent your garden, deck and home. Color tones range from light amber and yellows, to a deep honey brown. Each product’s appearance can range across all tones giving a lovely and rich blend of colors. How are the cedar products finished? The cedar is left untreated allowing it to age naturally for an antique appearance. The wood’s natural flaws and imperfect grains highlight its rustic look. Left untreated, the cedar will age to a silver gray tone. Most users prefer to allow the elements to naturally age their carts, wheelbarrows and planters. What type of treatment products should I use?
This is our top of the line western red cedar ornamental Cart Collection. Standard and deluxe models are available. 15” steel, 8-spoke wheels adorn the Platform Flower Cart. Its’ low profile is perfect for those tighter spaces. It is nicely sized 48”L x 29”W x 22”H. Large 24” steel, 8-spoke wheels carry five models. These include the Fenced Flower Cart, Deluxe Fenced Flower Cart, Vegetable Cart, Wine Cart and Deluxe Wine Cart. The deluxe versions include a lower shelf and lower front tray. These carts are amply sized, averaging 50”L x 29”W x 30”H. the 29” maximum width allows the carts to easily fit through standard 30” and 36” doorways. Show off your display arrangements inside or outside. Simply wheel them in or out! The backyard farmer will love the Vegetable Cart. The lower veggie shelf is perfect for your larger harvested produce. Its top assembly is portioned into 5 bins and is removable. Remove the top assembly and you have a platform cart. How often have you wanted to slip your 24” plastic window planter into your wooden planter box only to find it wouldn’t fit? We have exciting news! Introducing the “True-Combo Set”. Our western red cedar planter boxes are oversized to fit plastic window planters. It’s available in just the planter box or in a Combo Set. The boxes are drilled for drain holes, joints are glued and fastened tight with coarse thread screws. The Combo Sets are available in these various sizes: True-18, True-24, and the True-30”.
